The last few years I’ve been working on applying statistical models to the NHL playoffs. Last year I seemingly made a breakthrough as my model did a far better job of predicting the teams that had a good shot at the conference finals. Armed with this information I was able to win all of the playoff pools I entered (something that I thought was nearly impossible). The main league I play in has already drafted and the others don’t read this blog so I’m free to share what my research has uncovered for the 2010 playoffs.

Tonight I will be attending Fred Penner in concert. That’s right the same Fred Penner that many of you listened to when you were kids. Fred, as his popularity has faded, is now touring University Campuses and putting on shows at the local watering hole. To be honest I barely remember any Fred Penner songs, but I’m sure after a beverage or two and Fred lights up his guitar it’ll all come rushing back to me.

We've all been there. Several beers in and suddenly an idea hits you. An idea that while sober might have been possible, but due to your current state there's no way in hell you're going to be able to do it. To the men below I commend your efforts, but even I in my drunkest hour would not try to move a stump using a bike.
