Although I don’t ever see myself as truly being a Saskie, I feel that now is the time to admit that I no longer feel like a visitor. Life has regained a certain sense of normalcy and I am no longer surprised by things that occur here. So with that it is time to retire the gRegina thread. It’s been fun to write about and I’m sure there are things that will come up that will be somewhat alien to me. At the same time I’m not sure that they’ll be any more alien to me than they would if I still lived in Alberta.

So what now? I guess it’s time to really pick up where I left off. Not that I’ve stopped living my life over the past eight months, but I’ve only now stopped adjusting. I think it’s mostly that my hectic summer has finally ended and I never really felt settled. Fall is upon us and winter is just around the corner meaning that my trips back home will likely decrease and a more routine lifestyle will ensue. Although I am headed there this weekend and potentially Thanksgiving so maybe I’m kidding myself. Regardless life in general should be simpler.

With that I bid this thread farewell and suggest you look for future posts in the “Living” category. Its official I’ve been converted…
